I am thrilled to share with you our 2023/24 Donor Impact Report, which reflects the extraordinary generosity and commitment of our University community. Over the past academic year, your support has both inspired and empowered us to achieve excellence across education, research, and the student experience.
Thanks to your incredible contributions, we have been able to provide scholarships to deserving students, so that they can pursue their academic dreams at our university. These scholarships provide more than just financial support – they provide life-changing opportunities. On the next page, you can read about the profound impact these scholarships have had on our students, such as Sergio, who, like so many others, has thrived thanks to your kindness.
This year, we have also launched our Research with Impact PhD Scholarships, which are enabling us to attract the brightest minds to Exeter, so we can advance our groundbreaking research and tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges across our greener, healthier and fairer missions. These efforts are central to our ambitions and reflect our commitment to make a truly global impact, way beyond the boundaries of our campuses.
I would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to those of you who give your time to volunteer at our University. Whether by supporting our students through initiatives such as our Career Mentor Scheme, taking part in video profile interviews, or organising and attending a variety of alumni events, we are all incredibly grateful for the time, expertise and guidance you provide.
As we look to the future, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your ongoing support. Your generosity really does underpin our success, and I am very excited to continue our important work together in the coming year.
