Your gift, Exeter’s future
Many of our legacy supporters choose to leave a gift to support the general purposes of the University, which goes towards the priorities that are most pressing when the gift is received. These unrestricted gifts are an incredible way to ensure the University can respond to areas of greatest need when the time comes.
Others choose for their planned gift to support a particular department or area of research, some wish to donate to their former sports club or society. For more specific gifts of this nature, we can provide guidance to ensure that your wishes remain relevant by the time your gift comes to be realised.
If donors choose to support our Exeter Forever Endowment Fund, gifts received are invested and only the gains and interest of this endowment will ever be spent. Gifts of this kind have the power to keep on giving to Exeter, forever.
At the University of Exeter, we’re committed to using the power of our education and research to create a greener, healthier and fairer future for all.
We’re leading the world through our Sustainable Development Goals in Clean Water and are amongst the very best in Europe for Climate Action and Zero Hunger.

Help to support a greener future
Achieving a sustainable future for humanity on earth underpins Exeter’s world-class environment and sustainability research. Researchers are working across disciplines and across the University to develop pioneering research which impacts upon the world we live in.
Together they are influencing international policy, shaping global debate, and developing positive responses to climate and ecological crises. Our researchers are not just focusing on the here and now – they are exploring how to mitigate the environmental challenges we will face in the decades to come. You can support our vital environmental and sustainability research and help to protect the future of our planet with a gift in your Will.
